Message	rough, have you checked obvious things like the Coolant Temp Sensor, MAF, CAS PTU connections seeing as you were working in that area? Could just be a poor connection. Also as NytWolf says you should throw a timing light on there to see if it jumps around a lot. If your CAS is set to about center in the adjustment slot/range and it shows about 15 BTDC it's probably not the belt.
